Position Papers

Position papers for TritonMUN XXXI are due April 3rd at 11:59pm.

Extensions for position papers must be sent by the advisor to TritonMUN by March 22nd.

Minimum length for position papers are 1 page, with the maximum length being 2 pages.

Formatting for position papers include:

• Single-spaced in Times New Roman 12 pt. font

• No pictures

• At the top of each paper, the delegate’s country/person, name, committee, and topic

• Required* sections clearly labeled

  • Background

  • Past actions by the committee

  • Position of the delegate’s country/person

  • Possible solutions

*Some committees may ask for different formatting or an alternative to a position paper altogether, this will be clearly noted in the background guide for that committee

Position papers must be submitted to the Google Forms linked within the respective background guide.
