Position Papers

Position papers for TritonMUN XXXII are due October 18th.

Extensions for position papers must be sent by the advisor to TritonMUN by October 11th.

Position papers should be at least two pages in length and at most three pages in length (citations included).

Formatting for position papers include:

• Double-spaced in Times New Roman 12 pt. font

• No pictures

• At the top of each paper, the delegate’s country/character allocation, name, committee, and topic

• Required* sections clearly labeled

  • Background

  • Past actions by the committee

  • Position of the delegate’s country/character

  • Possible solutions

• The last page of the paper should be consist exclusively of citations and not contain any substantive content

*Crisis committees may ask for different formatting or an alternative to a position paper altogether, this will be clearly noted in the background guide for that committee

Position papers must be submitted to the Google Forms linked within the respective background guide.
